Anaerobic Exercise to Increase Height
You probably know that exercising can increase your heart rate, improve your blood circulation, and firm up your muscles. But did you know that you can also use exercise to increase height? This may sound shocking at first, but it`s true.
However, first it`s important to understand that “stretching” in this case doesn`t have the same meaning that it traditionally does. For instance, there`s more involved than simply standing up after sitting all day, touching your toes before a workout, or even yawning and extending your arms upward in the morning.
In other words, the exercise to increase height doesn`t simply involve “static stretching,” staying in one position while you stretch your muscles. Instead, this different type of stretching, “dynamic stretching,” is founded on movement. In fact, many experts believe that dynamic stretching alone is capable of adding height to your stature. Common dynamic stretching exercises include running, jumping, and so on.
Resistance exercise, or weightlifting, remains one of the most common types of dynamic exercises. What makes resistance exercises so effective in increasing your height? This is because such exercises boost the body`s creation of Human Growth Hormones (HGH). HGHs assist in various facets of the human body`s growth—including height!
So it`s enough to simply do any type of resistance exercises in order to boost your stature? Well, it`s not quite that simple. The primary factor related to the quantity of HGHs that your exercising creates is the intensity of the workout. That means it`s not enough to use a pair of wimpy one-pound dumbbells. Instead, for your exercise to increase height to increase your height, you should use heavy weights and have high-intensity workouts.
Then it may seem that weight lifting alone is the only type of exercise that can increase your height. No, that`s not the case. A high-intensity weight lifting session is one type of “anaerobic” exercising. Basically, it means “without oxygen.” This sort of exercising differs from exercises such as jogging or bicycling, which are “aerobic,” or “with oxygen” exercises.
What`s the main difference between the two types of exercises? Anaerobic exercises, such as an exercise to increase height, have a high intensity and a short duration. Meanwhile, aerobic exercises have a low intensity and a long duration.
So should you throw aerobic exercises out the window? No, these exercises also provide a wide array of benefits for your body. In fact, simply walking or jogging regularly can provide a wide array of benefits to your body, and particularly if you have health issues that would prevent you from doing anaerobic exercises.
That said, if you need an exercise to increase height, then you should definitely consider anaerobic exercises, such as weight lifting. Other types of anaerobic exercises include:
* hill climbing
* interval training
